Park City Institute presents Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen Park City Institute presents Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen, in an intimate show on the Main Stage at the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Center for the Performing Arts. The performance, part of PCI's 20th Anniversary Season at the Eccles Center, will showcase the two music legends' signature country songs, laced with blues, jazz, gospel and swing.

"Both Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen have played our stages before," said Orr. "But they've never performed together, for us. The evening will highlight both artists' work, and the ways their collaborations have evolved since their days at Texas A&M in the '70s."

"It's just the two of us taking turns playing our songs, telling stories," says Lovett. "I have so much fun." Adds Keen: "I don't always know his next move. Part of it is the repartee between the two of us, and, always, some really good surprises."

Lovett is a four-time GRAMMY award winner, with thirteen albums and 25 singles, to his name.

Billboard describes him as "blithely genre-jumping from traditional country to gospel, jazz, blues, folk, western swing and even soul, he's one of those artists, who simply cannot be corralled."

Keen has released 12 studio albums, two of which have reached number one on Country charts. A prolific writer and performer, Keen has been called a "pioneering Americana artist," by Rolling Stone Magazine, and named to the Texas Heritage Songwriter's Association Hall of Fame.
