ODC/Dance has announced the program for its annual SUMMER SAMPLER. Highlights include world premieres by guest choreographers Sonya Delwaide and Dexandro Montalvo plus revivals of signature works by Brenda Way and Kimi Okada. Summer Sampler takes place at ODC Theater July 20 - 22, Thursday - Saturday, at 7:30 p.m. each night. Tickets, starting at $25, are now on sale at odc.dance/summersampler.

The Seattle Symphony and Benaroya Hall announce the promotion of Dr. Paul R. Johnson who will become Vice President of People & Culture, as well as the organization’s first Chief Diversity Officer. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) work is essential to the Symphony’s mission, and this new senior leadership role was created to ensure that DEIB goals are prioritized and stay central to all Symphony and Benaroya Hall initiatives.

Red Bull Theater Appoints Martin Giannini as Executive Director

Red Bull Theater (Jesse Berger, Founder and Artistic Director) has announced the appointment of Martin Giannini as Red Bull's Executive Director. Giannini's appointment follows a search led by a committee composed of members of Red Bull's board, Berger, other key advisers and outside consultants led by Board Chair Howard Owens. Giannini, who will be the first Executive Director of the company, will begin at the post in May.

Patrick Flick, Executive Director of the Shakespeare Theatre Association (STA) and Mark Edelman, founder and president of Theater League, Inc, a Kansas City, Missouri based contributor to the performing arts, announced today that the League will be gifting thirty-five Shakespeare Theatres across the United States and internationally with a grant of $255,000 in general operating support.
