The Paley Center for Media today announced the schedule for PALEYFEST NY 2018, which will take place October 5-18, 2018. This two-week celebration of television brings together the cast and creative teams of today's most acclaimed and popular TV shows for screenings and interactive panel discussions taking place at The Paley Center for Media in New York City.
Comedy Central Announces SOUTH PARK Activation and DRUNK HISTORY Panel At New York Comic Con

Comedy Central is bringing the laughs to the New York Comic Con at the Javits Center. Comedy Central franchises South Park and Drunk History will take part in the festivities at 2018 New York Comic Con at the Javits Center, located at 655 West 34 Street in Manhattan. Comedy Central will present the Drunk History panel in room 1A06 on Saturday, October 6 from 8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., respectively, and South Park's interactive fan activation will take place all weekend, Thursday, October 4 – Sunday, October 7 during convention hours (Thursday-Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.).
The 17th Annual Tribeca Film Festival Announces Juried Awards

The 17th annual Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, announced the winners of its competition categories at the awards ceremony this evening, sponsored by Chloe Wine Collection, at BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center. Top honors went to Diane for the Founders Award for Best U.S. Narrative Feature, Smuggling Hendrix for Best International Narrative Feature, and Island of the Hungry Ghosts for Best Documentary Feature. The Festival awarded $145,000 in cash prizes. Tribeca runs through April 29, 2018.

The Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today announced the members of ten juries, which reflect the tone and texture of the annual cultural showcase, which celebrates storytelling in film, television, virtual reality, music and games. The jurors will be tasked with honoring the new works of emerging and established members of the creative community with unique art awards and cash prizes as they present their works at the annual Festival. Mirroring the breadth of Tribeca's programming, the team of jurors include acclaimed filmmakers, award-winning actors, noteworthy producers, and cultural leaders. The Festival takes place April 18-29 in New York City.
Comedy Central Renews Emmy-Winning Series DRUNK HISTORY For Sixth Season

Kent Alterman, President of Comedy Central announced today that the Emmy® Award-winning Comedy Central series, Drunk History, has been renewed for a sixth season with sixteen episodes. Created for television by Derek Waters and Jeremy Konner, Drunk History is produced by Central Productions and executive produced by Waters and Konner, along with Gary Sanchez Productions' Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Owen Burke. Ian Friedman and Daniel Wolfberg are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central. The fifth season currently airs on Tuesdays at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
