Remembering James' Returns to East Palo Alto California, but this time is Back By Popular Demand. The Broadway bound Jukebox Musical, about the Life and Music of James Brown covering the years of 1951-1968.

The Black Repertory Group is kicking off its 56th Uninterrupted Theatre season with The Life and Music of The Godfather of Soul, James Brown. The Nationally touring musical REMEMBERING JAMESwill open Nov. 7 and run Thursday- Sundays through Nov. 24

Weathersby Productions is continuing their 2019-2020 tour Theatre season, in Los Angeles at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre. The new musical REMEMBERING JAMES- The Life and Music of James Brown will perform Oct. 26 and Oct. 27, Two shows only.

A native from Longview TX, finds himself living a reality while bringing others along on the ride to mass exposure. Dedrick Weathersby, a Longview High School graduate embarks on another stop apart of his National 'Night Train' tour. This stop will lead him and the cast up North to beautiful South Lake Tahoe. Dedrick was welcomed to Valhalla Resort with a SOLD OUT audience. Some patrons uttered, 'I been waiting for this show all summer'.

As a very young man, Dedrick Weathersby a Longview TX native learned early on about the magic of the genre called 'soul music.'

A bevy of musicals, such as 'Jersey Boys' and a love of Motown, inspired actor Dedrick Weathersby to tackle the role of the great singer James Brown.

Boxcar Theatre is pleased to announce its inaugural SUNDAY SOLO SERIES at The Palace Theatre, home of The Speakeasy, starting in January. The Series will feature three exceptional artists: magician-storyteller Kevin Blake and actor-singers Doris Bumpus and Dedrick Weathersby.
