An exciting musical luncheon event, featuring live performances by the top NY Rat Pack, will kick off the holiday season by celebrating what would be the 103rd birthday of musical icon Frank Sinatra!

After yet another hugely successful year of the much-loved Arts Centre Melbourne Morning Melodies concerts, the 2019 program will dazzle audiences with a stellar line-up of musical theatre, opera, jazz and dance artists. This coming year, the feel-good one hour concerts held each month at Hamer Hall will celebrate our very own Australian performers, including Rhonda Burchmore, Rachael Beck, Michael Cormick and Rohan Browne.

THE RAT PACK LOUNGE is a highly entertaining fictional musical comedy about Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis, Jr. The Connecticut Cabaret Theatre has yet again produced a first-rate show with the perfect cast for the roles they perform.

Vocalist Jan Daley, who resumed her career last year after a nearly 20-year absence, landing two bestselling CD's at the top of the Billboard Jazz Chart, will perform her new show, "An Evening With Jan Daley," at the popular Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood on Wed., Nov. 14 at 8:30 PM.

In celebration of Italian history month the 'American Popular Song Society' presents the music of Harry Warren (Salvatore Guaragna), a composer of Italian descent and major contributor to the Great American Songbook.

Rudy's Jazz Room and Hippie Radio are excited to present Tim Rushlow & His Big Band Classic Christmas for a 10-show holiday residency at the popular Nashville speakeasy in the Gulch on December 6, 7, 8, 14 and 15. In a production commissioned by the Finborough Theatre, Bury The Dead by American playwright Irwin Shaw opens at the Finborough Theatre for a four week limited season on Tuesday, 30 October 2018 (Press Nights: Thursday, 1 November 2018 and Friday, 2 November 2018 at 7.30pm).

Hot off a sold-out, wildly successful run in Los Angeles, producers Just Words Productions, LLC, in association with Theatre 68, and Lenny Bruce's daughter, Kitty Bruce, announced today that Joe Mantenga will direct the Off-Broadway premiere of I'm Not A Comedian…I'm Lenny Bruce, written by and starring Ronnie Marmo. Performances begin Tuesday, October 23 at The Cutting Room (44 E 32nd St).

Murray Hill's debut solo show, ABOUT TO BREAK, officially opened Friday night (September 21), at Joe's Pub. Though he has been performing for over two decades, this solo show marked a first for him: a career show, as he put it. New York Voices, Joe's Pub at The Public's artist commissioning program, gave him unprecedented resources---his first time working with a director (Scott Wittman), space, budget, rehearsal, a full six-show run. All these things that, as he said, makes it possible to 'actually do creative development.'

Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts,  which brings audiences world-class theater, dance and music performed by many of the most sought-after artists,presents Chris Walden Big Band with a program that pays tribute to the "Rat Pack" era on Saturday, October 27, 2018, 7:30 pm,in the Bram Goldsmith Theater at The Wallis. Admittedly, when Long Island's Noel S. Ruiz Theatre announced they were going to have a run of the musical The Rat Pack Lounge, I was a little bewildered. The show hasn't been on Broadway, this is the first time it is being done in New York, and, honestly, there wasn't much overall information about the production as I was researching it. However... Sammy Davis, Jr., Ol' Blue Eyes, and Dean Martin? Pass me a martini because I am sold.

Cortland Repertory Theatre ended its Summer season with The Rat Pack Lounge at their lovely downtown location. The jukebox musical - showcasing those familiar hit tunes sung by the legendary Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dean Martin - is written by James Hindman and Ray Roderick with musical arrangements by John Glaudini. Director Mark Reynolds and his cast took the audience back in time.

Following a sold-out engagement in 2015, Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and actress Melissa Manchester returns to Feinstein's at the Nikko with her new show, The Fellas, on Friday, October 5 (8 p.m.) and Saturday, October 6 (8 p.m.). More than 25 years after Melissa Manchester released "Tribute," her 1989 album that honored the great female singers who influenced her, she turns the tables with "The Fellas," a radiant new encomium to the men, including Frank Sinatra, Mel Torme, Tony Bennett, and Dean Martin, and the iconic songs they made famous. In this intimate evening, Manchester will salute the men (and ladies) of song, as well as perform several of her own classic hits.
