Irish Repertory Theatre has announced its Online 2020 Fall Season. This fall will feature five Performances on Screen.

Casting has been announced for the final weeks of The Blank Theatre's 28th Annual Young Playwrights Festival. Being presented this year as digital shorts, the final four of 13 winning plays by young playwrights aged 15a?"19 from nine different states will be available to stream on Vimeo August 29a?"September 19.

Out of over 5,000 festivals in the world, Hip Hop Film Festival founded by CR Capers — is the only festival to focus on writers, directors, and producers who grew up in the global culture of hip-hop. The world tour is well underway, after recently completing successful stops in South Africa, Italy, Kenya, and West Africa.

This Spotlight focuses on John Wuchte, a talented actor/director/writer/composer and amazing Tribal Acting theater creator, who I first met during last year's Hollywood Fringe Festival when I attended his masterful musical production Scarlett Fever which told the true story of the great search to find an actress to portray Scarlett O'Hara in Gone with the Wind in 1939. The production utilized John's unique style of performance, which he calls Tribal Acting; a combination of movement, gesture, song and dance, all accompanied by live percussion. And I was hooked!

The Third Avenue Playhouse, located in historic downtown Sturgeon Bay, announces its lineup of six plays for the upcoming 2020 season. The plays include an early career work from playwright David Mamet, a 1964 musical by the legendary composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim, a multi-award winning classic about the unlikely friendship between an elderly lady and her driver, the story of an unconventional advice columnist, and a farcical take on the making of Gone With The Wind.

 CBS All Access today announced a new series order for GUILTY PARTY, a half-hour dark comedy starring Isla Fisher as Beth Baker, a discredited journalist desperate to salvage her career by latching on to the story of a young mother sentenced to life in prison for maiming and murdering her husband, crimes she claims she didn't commit. In trying to uncover the truth, Beth finds herself in over her head as she contends with Colorado gun-smugglers, clickbait culture, the doldrums of marriage and her own tarnished past.

Great voices and incredible sets and lighting cannot hide the weaknesses of the musical.

The Sydney Comedy Festival has announced its 2020 program, bursting at the seams with a blockbuster 220 shows from the very best international and local acts taking place from 20th April to 17th May.
