BROOKLYN TAVERN THEATER revives Dan Furman's immersive musical event, IMPOSSIBLE BUT TRUE is an original 'tavern musical' that will tour the Brooklyn and New York areas.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced complete casting for the Special Benefit Concert Reading of The Pirates of Penzance. The concert will be taking place on Monday, October 17, 2022 at the American Airlines Theatre. 

Kimberly Akimbo will begin previews on Broadway on October 12th and officially opens November 10th.  Check out photos of the cast meeting the press!

It's a 'big bright beautiful world' as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek JR. is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family. Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn't be complete without a few twists and turns along the way. KNOW Theatre will launch its 30th anniversary season with a production of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play 'Rabbit Hole' by David Lindsay-Abaire from Sept. 16 to Oct. 1.

The box office for the new musical, Kimberly Akimbo, will open on Wednesday, September 7 at 10am at the Booth Theatre. The Booth Theatre box office will be open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm.

Atlantic for Kids has announced casting for the world premiere of Hearts Strings, written by Lee Cataluna and directed by Kat Yen. Performances will begin on Saturday, October 1st at Atlantic Theater Company’s Linda Gross Theater.
