Manuel Igrejas' MARGARITA AND MAX Wins 'Best Short Play' at Midtown Theatre Festival
by Tyler Peterson
- Oct 13, 2013
Margarita and Max by Montclair resident, Manuel Igrejas, recently won awards for Best Short Play, Best Actress and Best Director at the Midtown International Theatre Festival in New York City. She's on her way to catch a bus to New York City (any resemblance to the #66 DeCamp bus is purely coincidental) to interview for a menial job she probably won't get. She could use a miracle. A strong spring breeze blows one of those ubiquitous black plastic bags into her path...and into her life. This is no ordinary bag and this is no ordinary day. Check out the short Margarita and Max promo. http://youtu.be/BpFm1tfN6z0
