Variety reports that the Dowdle brothers will reimagine 'Friday Night Lights' at Universal Pictures. John Erick will direct while Drew executive produces.

HBO has renewed the comedy series THE RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONES for a second season, it was announced today by Amy Gravitt, executive vice president, HBO Programming.

Universal Pictures today announced release dates for two new films in the iconic Halloween series.

THE RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONES, starring Danny McBride, John Goodman, Edi Patterson and Adam Devine, kicks off its nine-episode season with an hour-long episode SUNDAY, AUG. 18 (10:00-11:00 p.m. ETPT), followed by half-hour episodes on subsequent Sundays, exclusively on HBO.

The Film Arcade today announced it has secured the US rights to the hilarious heart-warming comedy, FAMILY, written and directed by Laura Steinel. The film premiered at SXSW 2018 and stars Taylor Schilling ( Netflix's “Orange is the New Black”), Brian Tyree Henry (“Atlanta”), Jessie Ennis (LIFE OF THE PARTY) and newcomer Bryn Vale. Additional cast includes Matt Walsh (HBO's “Veep”), Allison Tolman (“Fargo”) and Eric Edelstein (JURASSIC WORLD).  FAMILY is set to be released theatrically by The Film Arcade in Spring 2019.
