Steve is also a walking Wikipedia of the recording industry because of his career as a recording executive and producer. He was there for many momentous musical creations as head of A&R for Scepter Records. Tyrell's singing "The Way You Look Tonight" in the Father of the Bride movie starring Steve Martin made him a household name.

?The Celebrity Series of Boston announced its 2015-2016 season today, marking 77 years of bringing the world's greatest performing artists to Boston. The season opens on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 with author and speaker David Sedaris. In total, the 2015-2016 season will include 48 music, dance and entertainment engagements. The renowned Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center returns to Segerstrom Center for the Arts in a remarkable program titled Passionate Piano Quartets, pairing three works by Schumann, Brahms and the rarely performed Mahler Piano Quartet, which is the composer's only surviving instrumental chamber work, written while still a teenager.
