 BYT Media today announces full programming for the New York City edition of Death Becomes Us - A True Crime Festival. The multi day event is the second edition of the festival, which saw its premiere edition in Washington D.C. in 2018. It is also the first of its kind in New York City, expecting to attract upwards of 6,000 attendees across its venues, which include Gramercy Theatre, Town Hall, Nitehawk Cinema, Strand Bookstore and more between March 20-24th, with warm up events and content leading up to it.

This spring, 18 animated short stories presented by Tim Miller (Deadpool, upcoming untitled Terminator sequel) and David Fincher (MINDHUNTER, Gone Girl, House of Cards) land on Netflix in it's first ever animated adult anthology series. 

The final chapter in the critically acclaimed and award-winning political drama HOUSE OF CARDS: SEASON SIX debuts on Blu-ray and DVD March 5 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Following the death of President Frank Underwood, Vice President Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) has ascended to the position of Commander in Chief of the United States, working to rally her allies and outwit those who oppose her. The intrigue and political maneuverings inside the White House continue as the first female president seeks to solidify her legacy. All eight episodes ofHOUSE OF CARDS: SEASON SIX will be available in three-disc Blu-ray and DVD sets.

Netflix today announced Love, Death & Robots, an animated anthology series presented by Tim Miller (Deadpool, upcoming untitled Terminator sequel) and David Fincher (MINDHUNTER, Gone Girl, House of Cards).

Theatre NOVA, Ann Arbor's professional theatre with an exclusive focus on new plays and playwrights, presents the Michigan premiere of "The How and the Why" by Sarah Treem.

Custom Made Theatre Co. presents the Bay Area Premiere of Sarah Treem's When We Were Young and Unafraid, which runs January 17 through February 9 at Custom Made Theatre, 533 Sutter St. in San Francisco, one block north of Union Square.

FX Picks Up New Limited Series DEVS

The Playwrights Foundation, a launchpad for exceptional plays and playwrights announces the lineup for the 2018 Bay Area Playwrights Festival (BAPF) running July 20-29, 2018. The six Playwrights were selected from more than 700 submissions nationally, 85% from outside the bay area, from more than 2 dozen states and Canada - coast to coast a very North American cohort.

Robin Wright returns as the newly appointed Commander-in-Chief Claire Underwood in the new promo for House of Cards' final season.

The series follows ambitious FBI agent Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) as he struggles to comprehend incarcerated killers, so that he might use this knowledge to catch others. He's teamed with experienced agent Bill Tench (Holt McCallany) in the Behavioral Science Unit and will work with his sometimes reluctant partner to find new methods of investigation. Together they will meet some of America's gravest killers, including Edmund Kemper (played by a mesmerizing Cameron Britton) – and face the cynicism and scorn of the tradition-bound hierarchy of the 1970s' Federal Bureau of Investigation. Ford will risk empathizing with 'evil' in order to save lives. But, as Tench says, when arguing the case for their work: “How do we get ahead of crazy if we don't know how crazy thinks?”

Lola Kirke announced her debut full-length Heart Head West today; Downtown Recordswill release the album on August 10. Recorded in Los Angeles, the record is a deeply open account of Kirke's self-doubt, family matters, social concerns, and personal loves and joys. 'The goal of making things for me is to be as intimate as possible with myself,'she says in an interview with Nylon.

Playwrights Foundation announces the plays and playwrights of the 2018 Bay Area Playwrights Festival (BAPF) running July 20-29, 2018 at Potrero Stage, 1895 18th St in San Francisco. The Artistic Teams for #BAPF2018 features Directors Erik Pearson, Christine Young, Margo Hall, Daniel Banks, Lauren English, and Ken Savage. Dramaturgs joining the teams include Alex Mallory, Maddie Gaw, Lisa Evans, Vidhu Singh, Roweena Mackay, and the Legendary Nakissa Etemad.

Academy Award® nominees Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear as well as Cody Fern join Wright this season alongside Emmy Award nominee Michael Kelly, Jayne Atkinson, Academy Award® nominee Patricia Clarkson, Emmy Award Nominee Constance Zimmer, Derek Cecil, Campbell Scott and Boris McGiver in the sixth and final season.  House of Cards executive producers are Melissa James Gibson, Frank Pugliese, Robin Wright, David Fincher?, Joshua Donen?, Dana Brunetti?, Eric Roth?, Michael Dobbs? and Andrew Davies?.
