Landmark seasons of two of Kent Tritle’s choruses – the 150th of Oratorio Society of New York, the 200-voice avocational group, and the 60th of elite professional chorus Musica Sacra – as well as programs by his Cathedral Choir of St. John the Divine have revealed their concert seasons for this spring.

When Neil Young assembles a special edition of his songs. DUME is a new limited-edition all analog vinyl pressing of 16 songs originally collected for Neil Young's Archives Vol. II release in Fall of 2020. The Church of the Heavenly Rest in New York City will give David Briggs' & his daughter Kerensa Briggs' “A Festival of Psalms” its world premiere on April 21st at 7:30pm. Janet Yieh conducts the Choir of the Church of the Heavenly Rest, Members of the Canterbury Choral Society, Junior & Senior Choristers, and will include Brass Quintet and Percussion.

The Oratorio Society of New York, led by Music Director Kent Tritle, presents the 46th Lyndon Woodside Oratorio-Solo Competition Finals Concert at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 1:30pm. The Solo Competition was created in 1977 to encourage the art of oratorio singing and to give young singers an opportunity to advance their careers.

The Oratorio Society of New York, led by Music Director Kent Tritle, concludes its 2022-23 season with a performance of J.S. Bach's Mass in B minor on Monday, May 8, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage.
