DELANILA's forthcoming debut album, Overloaded, is set for release on April 3; preorder/pre-save the album HERE. DELANILA is the self-described cinematic experimental alternative project of multiple award-winning “notable cross-genre composer” (The New Yorker), performer and multimedia artist Danielle Eva Schwob, who has garnered international acclaim for her concert music, alt-rock songs and film scores.

The music video for “The Philospher,” the new single by self-described cinematic experimental alternative project DELANILA, is out today and may be streamed and shared. The video premiered at Clash, who called it a “crisp, seismic slice of pop-edged songwriting, but one that comes complete with a black, black heart.”“The Philosopher” comes from DELANILA's upcoming debut album Overloaded, set for release on April 3 on her own label, ZYG ZYG Records.

The nonprofit Sundance Institute announced today the showcase of new independent feature films selected across all categories for the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. The Festival hosts screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort, from January 23a?"February 2, 2020. The Sundance Film Festival is Sundance Institute's flagship public program, widely regarded as the largest American independent film festival and attended by more than 120,000 people and 1,300 accredited press, and powered by more than 2,000 volunteers last year.

On the third anniversary of the fire that nearly destroyed the historic cinema, Sag Harbor Cinema and Bay Street Theater team up to usher in the Holidays and celebrate the unique and festive spirit that is the Village of Sag Harbor. The American Film Institute (AFI), in partnership with AGBO Films, has announced Angela Chen (AFI Class of 2018) as the recipient of the inaugural AGBO/AFI Conservatory Development Grant. This new program awards $25,000 to a recent AFI Conservatory graduate to develop at least one project, with year-long mentorship from AGBO. Chen will receive the grant for her project TRIAD OF US, which tells the story of a broken Chinese immigrant family and their first-generation children in America. Told from multiple perspectives and based on true events, the story finds the young daughter unveiling dark family secrets as an assassination is executed and a sting operation is underway.

The Signature Theatre production of Octet, a world premiere chamber choir musical by three-time Tony Award nominee Dave Malloy (Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812)and directed by Annie Tippe (Ghost Quartet), opened just last night, May 19, in The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Society for the Performing Arts (SPA) will present An Evening with Margaret Atwood hosted by Houston Public Media's Ernie Manouse on Friday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. in Jones Hall for the Performing Arts. Atwood will speak on a wide range of issues relating to literature, social activism, political engagement, the creative process, the artist's role in society, technology and art, and, of course, her own accomplished body of work.

Sony Music proudly announces the release of SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) featuring original music by multiple Golden Globe nominee Daniel Pemberton. The soundtrack will be released digitally and on CD on December 17, 2018. Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animations' Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will debut in U.S. theaters on December 14.
