Sheffield Theatres Announces The Newly Named Tanya Moiseiwitsch Playhouse

Robert Hastie, Artistic Director of Sheffield Theatres, has announced that the venue previously known as the Studio theatre will now be named the Tanya Moiseiwitsch Playhouse in honour of the hugely influential theatre designer that had an essential role in the creation of the Crucible complex. 

Shipwright Announces Spring Season

The readings will take place in a uniquely intimate setting inside the historic Master Shipwright's House on the river in Deptford.  The new season also includes the return of Shipwright's sold-out musical, The Pied Piper, which thrilled audiences last Christmas.

Audiences have Six Weeks Left to See the Critically Acclaimed 1984

 Audiences have just six weeks left to see the critically acclaimed Headlong, Nottingham Playhouse and Almeida Theatre production of 1984. Since opening at the Nottingham Playhouse in 2013, the production has played almost 700 performances across the globe and, by the end of this run, over 380,000 people will have seen the show. Directed by Robert Icke and Duncan Macmillan with Daniel Raggett, the limited run at the Playhouse Theatre must end on 29 October 2016.

The cast for the hit West End production of George Orwell's dystopian masterpiece will be:Rosie Ede, Andrew Gower, Joshua Higgott, Richard Katz, Anthony O'Donnell, Daniel Rabin, Catrin Stewart and Angus Wright alongside Eve Benioff Salama, Cleopatra Dickens, Amber Fernee and India Fowler who will alternate the role of Child.  Check out the photos below!
