Houses on the Moon Theater Company has announced, today, Yvette Ganier (Jitney, King Hedley II), has joined the cast for the World Premiere of SuperHero, a new play written by Ian Eaton, developed with and directed by Warren Adams. Ms. Ganier replaces the previously announced Valisia LeKae.

A concert version of the developmental work Cursed, a new musical, will stream beginning April 6, 2021, at 7:30PM eastern. Although the stream is free, donations are being accepted in support of the BC/EFA Red Bucket campaign through April 15.

Timber Lake Playhouse (TLP), the premier professional summer theatre of northwest Illinois, opens its 58th consecutive summer season for 2019 on May 11 with the ABBA Tribute Band, Dancing Queen. Artistic Director Paul Stancato and Executive Director Dan Danielowski are busily making preparations for the opening.

The Musical Parody, the live comedic production, brings the beloved show to a new audience with its debut at the D Las Vegas on Oct. 26.
When I attended the Broadway incarnation of In the Heights, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Accordingly, when they announced their current season, I had the upmost confidence that the showing at the gorgeous The John W. Engeman Theatre was going to be just as stellar. Being the Engeman Theatre, I was proven right. The wonderful production runs through April 29th at the Northport venue masterfully directed by Paul Stancato.
