Irish Repertory Theatre and Fishamble: The New Play Company announced today their first collaboration, the 2022 Transatlantic Commissions Program, an endeavor that aims to address head-on the historical inequalities in representation that have existed in the theatrical canon.

The Milwaukee Rep welcomes theater back into the Stiemke Studio with Antonio's Song/I Was Dreaming of a Son by Dael Orlandersmith and Antonio Edwards Suarez, directed by Mark Clements. The Rep describes the play as a 'poetic journey of a dancer/artist/father questioning the balance of his passions -- art, culture, family.'

New York Theatre Workshop announced today that the NYTW 2022 Gala will honor Artistic Director James C. Nicola, who will depart NYTW after 34 years on June 30, 2022. The Gala will be held on Monday April 11 at 6PM at Capitale (130 Bowery, New York, NY 10013).
