Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the complete cast for the world premiere of You Will Get Sick, a new play by Noah Diaz directed by Tony Award nominee Sam Pinkleton. La Jolla Playhouse has announced several initial projects for its 2022 Without Walls (WOW) Festival. The WOW Festival will take place April 21 – 24 at ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station, home of the Playhouse’s 2019 WOW Festival and the Pop-Up WOW event in August 2021.

Sarah Elizabeth Haines is a violist and violinist, she plays both instruments in the touring production of Tony award-winning Hamilton. Previously, she’s toured with Les Misérables and Kansas City Choir Boy (featuring Courtney Love) and been a co-bandleader of Americana-folk band Bellehouse and a member of orchestral rock band Emanuel and the Fear.

Today's episode features Todd Almond, who is known for his singular songwriting in addition to his work as an accomplished performer. Almond traced his love for the arts back to his youth. 'For most of my childhood, instead of getting a story at bedtime, my dad would sit at the edge of my bed and play a Beatles song or a John Denver song. Music as an acceptable language was introduced to me right away. I am always grateful to my dad for that.'

When not acting for HBO Max or performing Bob Dylan on Broadway, Todd Almond took out some time to delve into some holiday music, and the result is now available online.

Almond is a songwriter and performer who can currently be seen in HBO Max’s “Gossip Girl” and on Broadway as “Elias Burke” in Bob Dylan’s Girl from the North Country. A folk-pop take on the classic holiday album, A Pony for Christmas weaves original compositions with new versions of traditional carols and new reworkings of pop songs.

Currently part of the the national touring cast of Hamilton as the company’s viola and violinist, Sarah Elizabeth Haines has released her latest single, “In The Morning”. Listen to the new track now!
