The complete lineup for the Best of Broadway Sings, the next concert in the Broadway Sings concert series at the Highline Ballroom, will feature Corey Cott (Newsies), Christine Dwyer (Wicked), and Laura Michelle Kelly (Finding Neverland).

BROADWAY SINGS is the acclaimed concert series that takes a pop icon and flips their music to create brand new, unique arrangements and orchestrations. Each installment gathers over a dozen Broadway stars to belt out new versions of the songs you love, backed by a full jazz band. The New York-based series was founded in2011 by Corey Mach (Wicked, Godspell) and is music directed by Joshua Stephen Kartes.  It  has  been  seen at  venues  such as  (le)  Poisson  Rouge, Highline Ballroom 54 Below,  and The Cutting Room.

The Broadway Sings concert series will continue at the Highline Ballroom its "Best Of Broadway Sings" concert, which will feature showstoppers from the series' previous 11 concerts. Some of Broadway's brightest, current talents, such as 2016 Tony Nominee Brandon Victor Dixon (Shuffle Along), Jay Armstrong Johnson (On the Town), and Alison Luff (Les Miserables), will sing completely new arrangements of the hits of pop superstars such as Adele, Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, P!NK, Sara Bareilles, and Whitney Houston. Over 15 Broadway performers will be accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing unique, original orchestrations created for the acclaimed series.

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. The starry lineup is set for the encore of the 11th installment of the BROADWAY SINGS concert series: Broadway Sings Whitney Houston. On May 2, 16 and 30, Feinstein's/54 Below will welcome Broadway leading lady Laura Michelle Kelly (Finding Neverland, Mary Poppins, Fiddler on the Roof) in a personal, revealing evening of song and stories. You'll hear some of her most favorite songs, ranging from musical theatre classics like "Don't Rain on My Parade", to current pop hits by artists such as Sara Bareilles. There will even be tunes from her favorite shows written by Jason Robert Brown, Stephen Sondheim, and Gary Barlow & Eliot Kennedy… who wrote her current Broadway venture, Finding Neverland. Laura Michelle Kelly invites you to experience her heart and a taste of what makes her feel at home. Be ready for some fun surprises and a big hearted welcome!

Magical Music for Life Foundation is thrilled to present its 5th annual TUNES IN TIMES SQUARE benefit concert Sunday, May 1, 2016 on Broadway between 42nd & 43rd Streets in Times Square. The goal of the concert is to raise financial support to produce a new original album of songs for water safety applicable to children with and without specials needs, awareness of our music, and funds to perform our musical written especially for children with autism and other special needs. The event will be a continuous sing-a-thon, where talented children and groups from six states will come together to share the same stage with over 70 Broadway performers from most of the current shows and many past shows. (Un)Lucky In Love, a heroic romantic musical comedy by award-winning writers Crystal Skillman & Bobby Cronin, will receive a developmental reading this week with a starry cast led by Ali Stroker (Spring Awakening, 'Glee') in a role that would be a first in Broadway musical theatre history -- a lead character who is disabled played by a disabled actor.

This past Monday, the BROADWAY SINGS concert series presented its 10th show withBroadway Sings Billy Joel. A cast of 20 Broadway stars sang completely new arrangements of the Piano Man's greatest hits. The performers were accompanied by a jazz orchestra playing original orchestrations. Previous artists honored in the series include Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, and Sara Bareilles.
