Tony Award winner Jefferson Mays' stars in the new Broadway production of his universally celebrated, one man virtuoso, tour-de-force performance in Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.

New York Theatre Workshop has added a final benefit performance of Merrily We Roll Along on Sunday January 22, 2023, at 2pm. Proceeds from the performance will benefit NYTW’s education and engagement programming across the 2022/23 season.

New York Theater Workshop has released the artwork for their production of Merrily We Roll Along, starring Daniel Radcliffe, Jonathan Groff, and Lindsay Mendez. Performances begin this Monday, November 21st, with an opening night scheduled for December 12th. Check out the artwork here.

The Broadway revival of August Wilson’s The Piano Lesson will be extended by popular demand -- through January 29, 2023. The Piano Lesson remains the highest grossing revival of a play on Broadway.

2022 Tony Award winner Joaquina Kalukango will join the cast of the New York City Center Encores! production of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim’s revival of Into the Woods as ‘The Witch’ beginning Friday, December 16th through the end of the run at the St. James Theatre.

LaTanya Richardson Jackson appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon last night to discuss directing The Piano Lesson on Broadway. During the interview, Jackson discussed what she hopes audiences take away from the play after they see it. Watch the new video interview now!

The New York City Center Encores! production of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim’s revival of Into the Woods will now offer general rush tickets for every performance at $59 per ticket. As previously announced, Into the Woods has extended for the final time, by popular demand, through January 8, 2023.

The cast of Into the Woods will perform on The View for their Halloween episode. The production recently made its broadcast television debut, with the cast performing the title number and Andy Karl and Gavin Creel performing 'Agony' on the TODAY Show.

Two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage and director Kate Whoriskey will bring their latest Broadway triumph, “Clyde’s,” a co-production with Goodman Theatre in Chicago to the Mark Taper Forum November 15 to December 18. It recently concluded the Goodman engagement.

Denee Benton, who starred as Cinderella in the off-Broadway run of Into The Woods at City Center earlier this year, will reprise her role in the Broadway run of the production next month.

The general rush and digital lottery policies have been announced for the Broadway revival of August Wilson's The Piano Lesson.

Danielle Brooks revealed that she will be out of The Piano Lesson through October 23 after testing positive for COVID-19.

Jackson, John David Washington, and Danielle Brooks, opened on Broadway.
