TRIP OF LOVE Becomes Longest Running Show to Play Stage 42

Trip of Love, the 1960's pop music spectacular,breaks the Stage 42 house record, becoming the theater's longest running tenant. At the matinee on Wednesday, June 22, Trip of Love will have played 305 performances (including 24 preview performances). This breaks standing house record held by the 2003 musical Fame on 42nd Street, which ran for a total of 304 performances (including 40 previews) at the same venue when it was previously called The Little Shubert Theater.

Starting July 12, the star of the hit Lifetime Television series 'Dance Moms' will join the company, performing specialty dance solos including 'These Boots Are Made for Walkin', 'Moon River,' and 'Wipe Out.'

Hibah's Broadway credits include The Color Purple, The Little Mermaid, Rock of Ages, Memphis, Pal Joey, Evita, Chicago (Velma), After Midnight, and On The Twentieth Century.

A flurry of fun is in the forecast for Waterbury when the Palace Theater presents five performances of IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS, the acclaimed stage adaptation of the beloved classic film, Nov. 6-8, 2015. Maine State Music Theatre marshaled all its resources for the finale of its 2015 season with a stunning production of Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein, filled with rollicking humor, brilliant dancing, and dazzling design effects that had the opening night audience on their feet cheering not only at curtain calls, but also during the course of the show. Directed and choreographed by Marc Robin, the cast of starry principals and equally gifted ensemble gave Brooks' signature off-beat humor a vibrancy and wit that had the intimate Pickard Theatre pulsating with joyous energy.
