The film deals with a teenager (Yelchin) who believes his neighbor (Farrell) to be a vampire. Collette will play the protagonist's mother, while Tennant will play a magician who claims to be an expert on vampires. Mintz-Plasse will play a friend of the protagonist who joins the vampires.
