The Long Island Music Hall of Fame (LIMHoF) has announced some of the very special presenters who will help induct the 2018 class during a red-carpet gala and ceremony taking place November 8, 2018 at The Space at Westbury (250 Post Avenue, Westbury, New York). Presenters this year include six-time Grammy Award winner Billy Joel, VP of Columbia Records and the man who signed Michael Jackson - Ron Alexenburg, Senior Director of Music Programming at SIRIUSXM - Lou Simon, The Cowsills, Chuck D & DJ Chuck Chillout, Jackie (Jokeman) Martling, and Live Nation Promoter Christian McKnight, with more to be confirmed.

The Recording Academy and CBS announced today the dates for Music's Biggest Night® in 2020 and 2021. The 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards® will air on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020, and the 63rd Annual GRAMMY Awards will air on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021. As the only peer-selected music award, the GRAMMY® is voted on by the Recording Academy's membership body of music makers who represent all genres and creative disciplines, including recording artists, songwriters, producers, mixers, and engineers, and will honor recordings released within the eligibility year.

GRAMMY Museum Presents THE PRISON CONCERTS: FOLSOM AND SAN QUENTIN

Widely known as the godfather of music photography, the late Jim Marshall maintained a 50-year career that resulted in more than 500 album covers, an abundance of magazine covers, and some of the most celebrated images in blues, jazz, country, and rock and roll, including those from Johnny Cash's notable Folsom and San Quentin prison concerts. To showcase these powerful snapshots of a legendary musician by a legendary photographer, the GRAMMY Museum® proudly presents The Prison Concerts: Folsom And San Quentin (Jim Marshall's Photographs Of Johnny Cash), a new exhibit showcasing Marshall's photos from Cash's historic prison concerts in 1968 and 1969 featured in the art book Johnny Cash At Folsom & San Quentin. The exhibit will open on Oct. 23, when Amelia Davis, Jim Marshall's longtime assistant and the sole beneficiary of his estate; John Carter Cash, Johnny Cash's son; and Scott Bomar, author of Johnny Cash At Folsom & San Quentin; will discuss the stories behind these photographs at the Clive Davis Theater as part of the Museum's An Evening With program moderated by GRAMMY Museum Artistic Director Scott Goldman. The exhibit will run through February 2019.
