Dances With Film aka DWF:LA is about to unleash its 26th annual independent film festival from June 22-July 2 at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood. 

Broadway Veteran Kelly Briggs ( Les Miserables and CATS) ,along with musical director John McMahon, will bring ' We Need A Little Broadway Christmas' to Holy Spirit High School PAC for a live stream event to benefit the Spirit of Music Program head by music teacher Claire Collins on December 3rd at 7pm.

College of DuPage (COD) College Theater presents Oscar Wilde's "A Woman of No Importance," directed by COD Professor of Theater, Amelia Barrett at the McAninch Arts Center's Studio Theatre, Oct. 6-23. "A Woman of No Importance" premiered in 1893 in London's Haymarket Theatre. As with many of Wilde's plays, it satirizes English upper class society and features many witty, memorable and highly quotable lines, such as "Men marry because they are tired; women because they are curious. Both are disappointed;" and "Nothing succeeds like excess." Please note: This play contains adult language and themes.

This weekend Rockwell Table & Stage located in Los Feliz, CA hosted a 'mini" Troop Beverly Hills Reunion with original cast members Tasha Scott ("Jasmine Shaker") and Mary Gross ('Annie Herman'), along with film director Jeff Kanew in attendance for the opening night of The Unauthorized Musical Parody of Troop Beverly Hills. The Schultz-Hill Foundation, hosted a Welcome Reception for the Atlantic City Ballet Company that is now housed at Boardwalk Hall. Over 20 International and US Dancers attended along with the Artistic Director, Ms Phyllis Papa and The Ballet Board at the Home of the Schultz-Hill Foundation Founders at Casa DEl Cielo in Atlantic City.
