Grammy Award winning stand-up comedian Lewis Black brings his Off the Rails Tour to the Van Wezel on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at 7 p.m. Tickets on sale now.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Georgetown University will celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a free, ticketed musical tribute, the Let Freedom Ring Celebration. The annual program, part of the Center’s Millennium Stage free daily performance series, features Leslie Odom, Jr.

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's four-week holiday engagement will kick off on November 30 with a star-studded Opening Night Gala, including a performance at New York City Center and party at the Ziegfeld Ballroom.

New York City Center's sold-out Studio 5 event on Tuesday, November 14 at 6:30pm will be available for free via livestream and on-demand for two weeks (through November 28). Celebrating the launch of her new book Mr. B: George Balanchine's 20th Century, author Jennifer Homans (Apollo's Angels: A History of Ballet) sits down with Alastair Macaulay, and Lourdes Lopez, for an evening of conversation and performance excerpts from Balanchine's Agon and The Four Temperaments, featuring New York City Ballet dancers Gilbert Bolden III, Adrian Danchig-Waring, Emilie Gerrity, and Miriam Miller, accompanied by pianist Elaine Chelton.

The Martha Graham Dance Company's acclaimed second company will perform Martha Graham's rarely seen The Owl and the Pussycat on Sunday, December 18, at 1pm and 5pm.

On Sunday, November 27 Cherylyn Lavagnino Dance (CLD) will present a reimagined reprise of Mythologies, Lavagnino's (2021) choreographic work inspired by the stories of Ancient Greece, and a first look at CLD's newest theater-dance work in process, The Winter's Tale, based on one of Shakespeare's last great plays.

Tickets are now on sale for the Broadway premiere of Pictures From Home. Three of the theatre’s most inventive, inspired and award-winning artists will return to the stage, bringing to vivid theatrical life a comic and dramatic portrait of a mother, a father and the son who photographed their lives.

Mint Theater Company is presenting the American premiere of Noël Coward’s The Rat Trap, directed by Alexander Lass. The parade my be over, but there is still more to enjoy from New York City Center's epic gala production. Jason Robert Brown and Alfred Uhry's 1998 Tony Award-winning musical Parade, starring Ben Platt and Micaela Diamond, with direction by Michael Arden, played its final performance on November 6, 2022. Hong Kong Ballet will present the U.S. Premiere of Romeo + Juliet on Friday, January 13 at 8pm and Saturday, January 14 at 2pm at New York City Center, 131 W. 55th Street.

Beginning Monday November 7th, from 7pm, Mint Theater will be streaming the three-camera archival recording (filmed in HD!) of The New Morality by Harold Chapin, directed by Mr. Bank.
