Following her sold-out Fringe run and a smash-hit tour, MP-turned-comedian Mhairi Black returns with her Difficult Second Album.

Pitlochry Festival Theatre will present the world premiere of Inexperience, a new play by acclaimed playwright Douglas Maxwell. Directed by Sally Reid, Inexperience will première in the Studio at Pitlochry Festival Theatre summer 2026.

This year's winner will join previous recipients Janey Godley (2023), Susie McCabe (2024) and Rosco McClelland (2025). 

Set in a shifting, timeless landscape, Waiting for Godot follows two men, Vladimir and Estragon, as they wait for someone who may never come. As they pass the time with scraps of conversation, moments of tenderness and flashes of dark humour, their story becomes a moving reflection on what it means to keep going in a world that rarely offers answers.

Based on the extraordinary true story of a sixteen-year-old girl who led France to victory in the Hundred Years War,  Saint Joan explores power, gender and youth-led change, taking us on the journey of someone from a marginalised background impacting international politics.

Directed by Dominic Hill, Artistic Director of the Citizens Theatre, 1984 is a co-production between Citizens Theatre, Dundee Rep Theatre and The Royal Lyceum Edinburgh which previews in Glasgow in August.
