Theatrical charity Acting for Others has announced that more than £70,000 was raised at their most successful West End Flea Market to date, held on Saturday 20 May at St Paul's Church in Covent Garden, with thousands of people enjoying the fun!

The Royal Opera House has announced that its next Cinema Season will comprise of 13 productions, eight of which will be broadcast to screens across the globe. The Royal Society of Literature (RSL), the voice for the value of literature in the UK, has unveiled the shortlist for the 2023 RSL Christopher Bland Prize. 

The Dominic Orlando Fund, which was created in 2022 following playwright Dominic Orlando's passing in 2021, announces the inaugural recipient of the Dominic Orlando Playwriting Award: José Casas. Tonight, Tuesday, May 23rd, the 24 Hour Plays will present a special edition of The 24 Hour Plays: Viral Monologues in solidarity with the Writers Guild of America, who have been on strike since May 2.

What did our critic think of MY FAIR LADY at Robinson Center? With a little bit of luck Broadway World was able to catch the amazing masterpiece of the Lincoln Center Theater Production of MY FAIR LADY at Robinson Center, 426 West Markham St., in Little Rock, Friday, May 19. Directed by Bartlett Sher with tour direction by Samantha Saltzman, this Lerner and Loewe classic whisked us away to London to follow a flower girl on her quest to raise her station in life. I do love a good girl-power tale, especially when it is infused with song after memorable song.  

For two decades of excellence, a concert like this was an embarrasment of riches and a right proper production.

Following the hugely successful mainland tour of A Streetcar Named Desire, and an exciting US premiere tour of The Crucible, Scottish Ballet will take the full production of Streetcar to Kirkwall, as part of the St Magnus Festival, and then to Stornoway on Lewis.

Production photos have been released from 42nd Street at Curve, Leicester ahead of playing Sadler’s Wells. The production plays at Curve, Leicester until Saturday 3rd June, followed by a season at Sadler’s Wells, London from Wednesday 7th June 2023.
