Canadian Stage Company & Sony Centre for Performing Arts Annouce Lepage's EONNAGATA & THE ANDERSON PROJECT

This fall, Toronto audiences will have two thrilling opportunities to enjoy the theatrical genius of Robert Lepage thanks to The Canadian Stage Company and the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts. The Andersen Project, written and directed by renowned theatre-maker Robert Lepage and performed by Yves Jacques, will have its Toronto premiere October 21 to 30, 2010, at Canadian Stage's Bluma Appel Theatre, 27 Front Street East. Eonnagata, created and performed by Robert Lepage, internationally acclaimed French ballerina Sylvie Guillem and award-winning British choreographer Russell Maliphant, will have its Toronto premiere on November 18 and 19, 2010, at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts, 1 Front Street East.

The Un-Common Theatre Company will continue their 30th season March 19th through March 21st by presenting the Young Performers' Production of "The Little Mermaid", a musical based on the story by Hans Christian Anderson.
GrooveLily to Revive STRIKING 12 for Special New Years Eve Performance

GrooveLily, the trio behind the off-Broadway hit STRIKING 12, will revive their performance for a December 31st New Years Eve performance at the Merkin Concert Hall. The performance will mark GrooveLily's first and only appearance in Manhattan in 2009. STRIKING 12 is written by Brendan Milburn (book, music and lyrics), Tony Award winner Rachel Sheinkin (book and lyrics) and Valerie Vigoda (book, music and lyrics).

Michael Riedel reports in the New York Post that Will Ferrell's 2003 comedy Elf may be getting Broadway treatment, as a production underwent an industry staged reading last week. Riedel alleges that the buzz surrounding the reading has been positive.
