'Living & Breathing,' an innovative play, is making its world premiere at Two River Theater (TRT) through February 26.

Theatre Camp, which stars Molly Gordon, Ben Platt, Noah Galvin, and more, recently had its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. The film was met with a standing ovation, according to videos on social media. Members of the cast took the stage and surprised the audience with a musical performance during the festival.

The new year brings a new world premiere to Red Bank! Continuing its theatrical season, Two River Theater will present the darkly funny and complex Living & Breathing, written by Mando Alvarado and directed by Rebecca Martínez.

Play-PerView has announced the next streamed event with net proceeds benefitting RAICES (Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services). Chess is coming back to the West End for the first time since 1986, opening at the London Coliseum on Thursday 26 April 2018 (Press night on Tuesday 1 May 2018) for a strictly limited 5 week season. The show will come without one of its previously announced cast members, however. BroadwayWorld has just learned that Murray Head has withdrawn from the production. A show representative explained:

SHREK THE MUSICAL today announces full casting for the major nationwide tour, with Amelia Lilyjoining the cast as 'Princess Fiona' from April 2018. As previously announced, Call the Midwife star Laura Main will also play 'Princess Fiona' at selected venues, sharing the role with Amelia while she continues filming on the current BBC series.

Theatre of NOTE presents the west coast premiere of WELCOME TO THE WHITE ROOM, written by Trish Harnetiaux and directed by Megan A McGuane. WELCOME TO THE WHITE ROOM opened last night, August 17, and will run through Saturday, September 16 at Theatre of NOTE, 1517 N Cahuenga Blvd (just north of Sunset) in Hollywood. Now playing at Theatre of NOTE is the west coast premiere of WELCOME TO THE WHITE ROOM, written by Trish Harnetiaux and directed with constant, attention-getting movement by Megan A McGuane. In the small, black box theater, we discover Ms. White (Sierra Marcks), Mr. Paine (Chris Gardner), and Jennings (Sarah Lilly) shortly after they have arrived in a completely white room set designed by Amanda Knehans. It soon becomes apparent they have not met before nor do any of them know the reason they have been brought into this strange place. As the one-act play unfolds, we follow their journey as they attempt to figure out exactly what they are meant to do and the reason for their entrapment in such a strange place.
