Full cast and production team were announced today for the Equity-affiliated Citadel Theatre Company's production of PETER AND THE STARCATCHER. The fantasy-comedy by Rick Elice, author of JERSEY BOYS, THE ADDAMS FAMILY and THE CHER SHOW, imagines how Peter Pan might have become lost in Neverland, PETER AND THE STARCATCHER's Broadway production was nominated for nine Tony Awards (including Best Play) and won five.

Arts Midwest (Minneapolis, MN) announced Tennessee Shakespeare Company (TSC) is one of 40 national recipients of $1 million in Shakespeare in American Communities: Schools grants to nonprofit, professional theatre companies from 25 states and the District of Columbia. Arts Midwest also announced TSC is one of the first seven grantees in an initiative to expand the National Endowment for the Arts' long-standing Shakespeare in American Communities program into the juvenile justice system. Shakespeare in American Communities: Juvenile Justice will provide $170,000 in federal funds specifically earmarked for programming for young people in the U.S. criminal justice system over the next year.

City Lit Theater Artistic Director Terry McCabe today announced his 17-person cast for the company's 2018-2019 season closer - a double-bill of one-acts, dubbed TWO DAYS IN COURT, offering first a fantastic and then a silly and satiric look at the legal system. McCabe will direct the bill, which will open with THE DEVIL AND DANIEL WEBSTER - the play by Stephen Vincent Benet based on his 1936 short story.
