The Department of Theatre at Purdue University Fort Wayne invites audiences to experience the heartwarming musical, The Spitfire Grill, at the Williams Theatre on the PFW Campus.

Veteran journalist Harry Haun, who covered theater for more than 50 years, passed away on February 2. He had been admitted to the ICU last week with congestive heart failure. He was 85 and is survived by his husband, Charles Nelson.

Producer, director, and New Federal Theatre founder Woodie King Jr. passed away at 88 on January 29 following complications from emergency heart surgery.

Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, in a new production by Ruth Stage, will play The Theater at St. Clements (423 W. 46th Street) beginning previews July 15, and opening night is set for July 24. The original scheduled run of this production, which had been announced for January, 2022, was postponed due to the ongoing health crisis.

Theatre Under The Stars has a storied history in the Houston theatre scene. One of the cornerstones of their theatre community is long-time actor Paul Hope. Hope has the distinction of performing professionally for several decades, in more than 40 productions at Theatre Under the Stars alone.
