The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) announced its upcoming 2022-23 season of dance including several anniversary celebrations and world premieres. The fall season begins with two shows melding dance and jazz music: famed Newark-born tap artist and dancemaker Savion Glover collaborates with jazz vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater (Nov 12)  followed by new works by New Jersey-based Carolyn Dorfman Dance featuring a live performance by renowned jazz violinist Regina Carter (Nov 16).

The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) announced the exciting line-up of the highly anticipated TD James Moody Jazz Festival. This year's program offers events combining jazz luminaries in collaboration with artists known for R&B, poetry, hip hop, and so much more.   

The Philly POPS continues its 44-year Independence Week tradition with POPS on Independence at Independence Mall on July 3, 2022, at 7 p.m.

In association with Dance New Jersey, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC)presents a one-night only showcase on Friday, June 10, 2022, featuring world premiere works by five, young female New Jersey-based choreographers.

Ariel Rivka Dance presents their Spring Season from May 19-21, 2022 at 7:30pm, with an additional family matinee performance featuring ARD students and company on May 21, 2022 at 2pm, at the Manhattan Movement & Arts Center, 248 W. 60th Street, NYC. The finale performance on May 21, 2022 at 7:30pm will also be livestreamed on YouTube.

 In advance of Alvin Ailey Dance's performance series at NJPAC (May 6-8), NJPAC hosts a special community day to celebrate Ailey. In what has become a favorite annual event for families in the Newark area, this free program attracts hundreds of children and adults for a fun morning of dance.

Carolyn Dorfman Dance will return to SOPAC ((South Orange Performing Arts Center) for a spectacular evening of dance on Saturday, April 23, at 8:00 p.m.

Dance on the Lawn, Montclair, NJ's premiere outdoor dance festival, will “return to the lawn” with live performances on Saturday, Sept. 11 from 3-5pm at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 73 South Fullerton Avenue. The 2021 DOTL Festival will also be live streamed on DOTL's virtual channels, Vimeo, YouTube and Facebook. The DOTL 2020 festival took place virtually last year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Katharine Pettit Creative - KPC is partnering with the Black Mental Health Alliance to curate a virtual dance centered concert, 'Transcend, Uplifting Their Voices', that will center Black Trans, Non Gender Conforming, and Queer Artists Wednesday July 14th, 2021, 6PM.

Carolyn Dorfman Dance will appear in a virtual gala performance and benefit on Saturday, April 24 presented by SOPAC. The evening, entitled 'Thrive,' will feature three works by the 10-member Company plus interview footage of Artistic Director and Choreographer Carolyn Dorfman speaking with dance writer and critic Robert Johnson.

Carolyn Dorfman Dance produces and hosts the fourth annual Dance Union Festival held virtually on April 13 through April 16.
