Claybourne Elder and the rest of the cast of COMPANY were all set to open the third revival production of the show on Broadway when COVID-19 hit and closed down NYC life as we knew it. Claybourne was set to appear in COMPANY, his fourth Broadway show, as the flight attendant, Andy, who you might know better as April in the original version.

Stars in the House continues today (8pm) with a John & Jen reunion! John & Jen is a musical with music by Andrew Lippa, lyrics by Tom Greenwald, and a book by Lippa and Greenwald. It is a two-person show about the relationships first between a brother and sister, John and Jen, and then, after John is killed, between Jen and her son, also named John.

Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI) announced the acquisition of the World Premiere digital musical A Killer Party: A Murder Mystery Musical for licensing to theatrical organizations in the US and Canada.

As BroadwayWorld reported yesterday, Tony Award winning actor Brent Carver has passed away at age 68. This evening, Carver's Broadway colleagues took to social media to celebrate his life and legacy.

Broadway Records announced today the release of the original cast recording of A Killer Party: A Murder Mystery Musical will be available digitally on Friday, August 21st. With music by Jason Howland and lyrics by Nathan Tysen, the album includes all songs from the new hilarious, remotely-recorded musical with an all-star cast of Broadway's best.
