CT Chapter LPTW Presents Panel on 'Rebuilding Theater with Greater Relevance' and Presents Ivoryton Playhouse with 'Seal of Approval' for Promoting Theater Women at WOmen Playwrights Fest Oct. 29

The Ocean Community United Theatre Board of Directors, led by board co-Chairs Charles Royce and Nicholas Moore, have announced that they have hired Carly Callahan to lead the organization as Executive Director.

Sony Music Masterworks, a division of Sony Music Entertainment, today announced it has made a strategic investment in Seaview, a leading theater production company headed by Tony Award-winning producer and entrepreneur Greg Nobile.

World renowned artist David Pittsinger will be performing his heart warming holiday show, "The Ivoryton Playhouse Christmas Hour" from December 5th through 8th at the Ivoryton Playhouse. An old fashioned Christmas celebration of holiday standards and sacred songs, the evening will feature David with his wife, Patricia Schuman, son Richard, Carly Callahan, Ryan Bloomquist and Anna Fagan.

Ivoryton Playhouse, in a new partnership with Water's Edge Resort,  will present a series of eight cabaret-style dinner theatre performances beginning Sunday, June 11th, written for and performed exclusively at Water's Edge.  This original series will showcase the professional talent of Ivoryton Playhouse performers and musicians in four unique events.

Madison Lyric Stage, now in its fifth year of bringing professional theatrical experiences to the Shoreline, will present the musical Evita by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice on July 14, 15, 16 and 21, 22, 23 at the First Church of Christ Scientist, Guilford located at 49 Park Street on the historic Guilford Green.  All shows are at 8:00 p.m.  Tickets are $30 and can be reserved by visiting www.madisonlyricstage.com or calling 203-779-5258.
