Among the artists vaulted to new heights of stardom via history-making appearances were The Beatles, Elvis Presley, The Temptations, and The Supremes, all of whom returned to 'The Ed Sullivan Show' several times after electrifying debut performances on the program.

There's no time more appropriate for a PEACE AND LOVE concert than now, and on April 6, 2018, TJP (formerly known as The Jost Project) is proud to perform in the Great Stair Hall of the Philadelphia Museum of Art as part of their Friday Nights series. TJP will perform two sets of music at 5:45 and 7:15 p.m. As the perfect complement to the Museum's exhibit -- Design in Revolution: A 1960s Odyssey - TJP's music and the exhibit have a similar focus on the 1960s, a time of tumultuous political and social change, when messages of "peace and love" were everywhere. The exhibit is in Perelman Building, located at 2525 Pennsylvania Avenue, across from the museum. The concert is free with museum admission.

Stray Cat Lee Rocker Hits Montalvo Stage 3/9

Montalvo Arts Center continues its acclaimed Carriage House Concert Series with a rollicking solo appearance by Lee Rocker, co-founder of the famed rockabilly band The Stray Cats. Rocker made his mark standing on, spinning, and rocking out on his giant upright bass, prompting the Orange County Weekly to declare "there has never been a rock 'n' roll bass player more fun to watch in concert." With the Grammy-nominated The Stray Cats, which has sold over 10 million albums and garnered an astounding 23 gold and platinum certified records worldwide, Rocker recorded hits including "Stray Cat Strut," "(She's) Sexy +17," and "Rock This Town," listed by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as one of the songs that shaped rock 'n' roll. Rocker has also played and recorded with musical legends including Carl Perkins, Scotty Moore, Wanda Jackson, Levon Helm, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, among others.
