Innovative theatre makers across the country have risen to the challenge of creating safe art in the time of COVID - often via Zoom, Twitch, or other conferencing/streaming platforms. Red Bike, directed by Juliet Salazar and presented by Teatro Paraguas, took a different, and decidedly more cinematic route, resulting in an engrossing piece of socially distanced theatre.

WTF Pivots Mission Online in Response to COVID-19

As theaters sent emails en masse to inform audiences of their plans to postpone planned productions or close runs early, WTF, fortunate to be far from the next scheduled production, believed the best way to serve the community in this moment was to provide an outlet to engage in discussions around great plays. The WTF community helped Executive Artistic Director Johannah Maynard Edwards choose Dance Nation by Clare Barron to read and discuss, and before we knew it, nationally acclaimed artists quickly joined WTF's panel, live-streamed on Twitch Tuesday night.

Trap Door Theatre Extends Run Of Krista Knight's LIPSTICK LOBOTOMY

Trap Door Theatre is adding three more performances to its run of a?oeLipstick Lobotomy,a?? written by Krista Knight and directed by Kate Hendrickson. Additional shows will be at 8 p.m. March 26, 27 and 28. The show features Dennis Bisto, Abby Blankenship, Natara Easter, Ann James, Eleanor Katz, Emily Lotspeich, Michael Mejia, Kirk Osgood, Ann Sonneville, Michaela Voit, Bob Wilson and Bernadetta Zawiejska.
