Raven Theatre will continue its 2019-20 season with a revival of Henrik Ibsen's masterpiece A DOLL'S HOUSE, in a vibrant and progressive new adaptation making its Chicago premiere. Directed by Lauren Shouse, the new work features translation by Anne-Charlotte Hanes Harvey and adaptation by Hanes Harvey and Kirsten Brandt. A DOLL'S HOUSE will play February 6 - March 22, 2020 on Raven's 85-seat East Stage, 6157 N. Clark St. (at Granville) in Chicago. On June 20, jazz prodigy Bryan Carter is proud to present JAZZ AT PRIDE, a one-night only concert event celebrating the LGBTQIA+ Community at (le) poisson rouge. The performance will feature a compilation of world-class musicians including Michael Blume, Linda Briceño, Cat Cohen, J. Hoard, Alphonso Horne, Brandon Lee, Sherrie Maricle, Michael Mwenso, Dida Pelled, Vuyo Sotashe, Charenee Wade, and 2019 Tony Award winner for Best Performance by a Leading Actor, Santino Fontana, all backed by the 22-piece Young Swangers Orchestra.

Bill and Hillary Clinton came to see Steve perform on one of her first nights out after the 2016 election. He has played for Presidents Bush and Trump. Tyrell has performed on stages all over the world, entertaining the likes of President Santos of Columbia, Prime Minister Netanyahu, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, as well as Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace.

Following the success of 'Broadway Against Bullying' nationally renowned non-profit No Bully hosted a one-night-only cabaret 'Broadway Against Bullying” to celebrate their 10th Anniversary.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was thrilled to present Santino Fontana on Monday, December 3. Mr. Fontana will return to the historic stage on December 17, with another 7pm show.

For the first time in his 20+ year career as one of music's most in demand drummers, Fred Eltringham, steps away from the kit and up to the mic with his basement band, The Get You, and their debut album, Take Cover (The Noise Company). The Get You reimagines pre-existing songs with an edgy, lo-fi swagger. Eltringham curates the song selections by focusing on deep cuts over big hits, giving us an alternative appreciation of some of music's greatest writers. Basically, without even trying, Eltringham has created the coolest cover band ever.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present Broadway leading man Santino Fontana in his Birdland concert debut on Monday, October 9. Joining Santino onstage were musical director/pianist Steven Feifke, Charlie Rosen on bass and Bryan Carter on drums.
