The producers of The Wanderer, a new musical based on the life of Rock n' Roll Hall-of-Famer Dion DiMucci, are pleased to announce that Michael Wartella (Wicked) will star as Dion alongside Christy Altomare (Anastasia) as Dion's wife Susan and Joey McIntyre (New Kids on the Block; Waitress) as Dion's right hand man, Johnny, in the world premiere at New Jersey's Paper Mill Playhouse. Further casting to be announced at a later date.

Fans fell for Nick Fradiani as he soared through American Idol, claiming the champion title and releasing his debut solo project, Hurricane. Now based in his home state of Connecticut, Fradiani returns to the soul of his work, crafting songs with melody and rhythm that remind him why he chose music in the first place. Fradiani dropped his Fall release of his latest EP, Where We Left Off, an independent album on, October 13th.

The 48th season of the popular Highlights In Jazz continues on March 19, 2020, when producer Jack Kleinsinger presents 'Ellington Everlasting.' The concert turns the spotlight on the maestro's timeless compositions and enduring legacy, through the dynamic vision of featured performers like trombonist Art Baron & The Duke's Men, drummer Bernard Purdie, bassist Bill Crow, saxophonists Bill Easley and Mark Hynes, pianist James Weidman and vocalist Ira Hawkins. In keeping with the beloved HIJ tradition, a surprise special guest will be on hand for the concert, to be held at BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center.
