America's legendary singer and songwriter, Don McLean, will be featured on SiriusXM's Elvis Radio (Channel 19) this Saturday, July 20 at 12 noon ET/11am CT. McLean chats with life-long Memphian, and morning host of Elvis Radio, DJ Argo. The hour long interview special traces McLean's connection to the King of Rock & Roll, including Presley's performance of McLean's classic hit song 'And I Love You So.' The Perfect Fit, a new family musical featuring book, music and lyrics by twelve-year-old musical sensation Joshua Turchin (The Little Mermaid Live-To-Film, Forbidden Broadway Salutes Carol Channing, A Christmas Story National Tour, TrevorLive, The Pill) will be making its world premiere this Summer in a staged developmental production that will run August 11 - 23 as part of the Rave Theater Festival. Directed by Broadway veteran Garth Kravits (Drowsy Chaperone, Gettin' the Band Back Together), The Perfect Fit will run at the Teatro Latea Theater, at the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center, 107 Suffolk Street, 2nd Floor.

Initial honorees for the 6th Annual Location Managers Guild International Awards (LMGI) were announced today by LMGI President Mike Fantasia. Acclaimed Oscar®-nominated director Peter Weir (Witness, Dead Poets Society, The Truman Show, Master and Commander) will receive the Eva Monley Award, which recognizes and honors industry members who support the work of location professionals. Location Manager Michael J. Meehan (Dead Poets Society, The Perfect Storm, Pirates of the Caribbean, Master and Commander) will receive the 2019 LMGI Lifetime Achievement Award. The LMGI Awards spotlight international features, television and commercials in which the creative use of filming locations set the tone, enrich the character and enhance the narrative. On Wednesday evening, the biggest names in sports and entertainment descended on the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles to celebrate the year's best moments in sports at The 2019 ESPYS Presented by Capital One. The show was hosted by comedian Tracy Morgan and aired live on ABC. Morgan's opening monologue kicked off the night on a high note – the diehard sports fan brought the laughs while discussing his recent sports car dust up and ribbed former New York Giant Odell Beckham Jr. on his departure for the Cleveland Browns.
