To prepare for the big moment of seeing the tale on screen, BroadwayWorld has put together a list of film projects that we think are worth viewing or revisiting before Wicked flies into theaters on November 22.

In the lead-up to Wicked's Nov. 22 release, Target will offer more than 150 movie-inspired products. Nearly 70% of the items will only be available at Target, including an apparel and accessories line created by the film’s costume designer Paul Tazewell. View the list of products and learn more.

Following yesterday's tease from Funko's social media page, the beloved collectible brand has officially revealed the new Wicked-themed products. The collection consists of POP! Figures, stationary, and Loungefly bags.

Funko has revealed the upcoming POP! figures that will be released in partnership with the Wicked movie. The image showcases Elphaba and Glinda and features the iconic green and pink colors that are characteristic of the witches.

In a new cover story, Wicked stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo revealed that they heavily leaned on one another while filming the two-part film, opting to communicate well and lead with love during their time on set.

The Wicked movie will be coming to theaters in just two short months! In a new video with Vanity Fair, the film's lead stars, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo (also the October cover story) take the legendary lie detector test from the pop culture magazine. 

With Wicked flying into theaters in only two short months, the runtime for the first part of the film has surfaced. According to movie theater listings, part one of Wicked will be a whopping 2 hours and 40 minutes. Learn more about how the film was divided and the story was set for two parts.

R.E.M. beauty has shared a new video, giving viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the new Wicked-inspired beauty collection. The video features models demonstrating the products with Glinda-inspired costumes and props for a photo shoot with founder Ariana Grande in attendance. Watch it now!

A new featurette has been released, offering a deeper look into the themes and magic that are featured in the long-awaited adaptation. The video offers new behind-the-scenes footage from the film, including scenes with Elphaba (both young and old), Madame Morrible, Glinda, and more.

A new video has just been released, hosted by Wicked director Jon M. Chu, which introduces the Shiz University campus to prospective students and viewers. 

'I enjoy dancing now more than I did when I was younger, especially creating my own movement,' says Tanner Lane, a New York based performer and choreographer. He is currently on faculty at Broadway Dance Center where he teaches Theatre Jazz as well as Deviate Dance Convention where he teaches Theatre, Jazz, and Heels. He moved to New York from Florida after attending Florida State University for Musical Theatre. Shortly after moving to the city, Tanner joined the equity Broadway National Tour of Chicago The Musical where he toured both nationally (including Kennedy Center) and internationally (South Korea, Japan, Philippines). In NYC he is the only person to have performed as both a singer and a dancer in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.  This summer he choreographed for the Las Culturistas 2024 Culture Awards with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang and set a number for an event with Leg Up On Life. Tanner has also had the opportunity to perform around the country regionally in Joseph..., and Billy Elliot (The Muny), Bye Bye Birdie (Lyric Theatre OKC), A Chorus Line (Stages St. Louis), and more.

Welcome, students! A new in-universe website for Shiz University, the school that Elphaba and Glinda attend in Wicked, has just been made available and we've got a guide. 

The upcoming Wicked movies will be taking the characterization of Elphaba's sister Nessarose to the next level, using their longer screen time to further develop the character from the stage show.
