Bold and brassy? Yes. Loud and raucous? At times! But... Jackie Hoffman is terribly, terribly talented and self-deprecating. Let's add juicy and mirthful! In her one-woman show Memoircita!, which played three performances at LGBT's Renberg Theatre this past weekend, Hoffman doled out more dish than gay audiences could ever dream of ... about her unhappy life, checkered career, whacky view of the world, and of course not excluding working with the brilliant and condescending Jessica Lange on Feud: Bette and Joan on fxtv. Her diary Memoircita! was the highlight.

Most recently celebrated for her role as Mamacita in the hit FX miniseries FEUD: Bette and Joan, Hoffman returns to the Center's Renberg Theatre for three performances only on Friday and Today, May 11 and 12 at 8pm and Sunday, May 13 at 7pm.

The acclaimed actor and comedian is appearing in the 19th season of Lincoln Center's AMERICAN SONGBOOK series, an eclectic musical buffet of the American spirit through song and story.

The successful and versatile singer Kathy Babe Robinson accompanied by The Tom Adams Trio will be performing at Dino's Backstage and The Celebrity Room in Glenside, PA. On November 17 and 18 at 8:30 p.m., with dinner available from 7 p.m. Robinson will perform renditions of everything from Standards, Jazz, Broadway to Contemporary Rock. New Hampshire Theatre Project and Cornelius Productions, LLC present CRAZY WORLD, an original one woman musical inspired by the life of Julie Andrews, premiering at New Hampshire Theatre Project/West End Studio Theatre in Portsmouth, NH for three exclusive shows Friday, Oct. 20 at 8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 21 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 22 at 2:00pm.

Singer Helane Blumfield returns to Don't Tell Mama in May with a new, second solo show, "Call Me H!"

Longtime Broadway performer TERRI WHITE took The Kennedy Center stage in a farewell solo performance that covered her many roles, thoughts on life and love of her family and the theatre.

It was more than fitting that the New York cabaret community should honor the late Jerry Scott last Saturday night at Parnell's--the last piano bar that Jerry played before he died in April, 2013 at 67. To honor Jerry's memory and his lifetime of achievements, three devoted friends, cabaret reviewer John Hoglund, Allan Armour, and Geri Malino produced The First Annual Jerry Scott Memorial Award Show. This yearly event will not only pay tribute to Jerry's extraordinary talent, but the award will be presented to an exceptional entertainer/performer in the Manhattan Piano Bar/Lounge/Restaurant scene. The first recipient of the aptly named “Bronze Piano” was Bobby Peaco, a well-respected member of the New York cabaret community for more than 20 years.

A year ago this summer (July 31, to be exact), Terri White performed a one-off show at 54 Below that was so stirring in its show-woman ship she was voted the winner of the 2013 BroadwayWorld New York Cabaret Award for 'Best One-Show Special Event.' Based on the Broadway and nightclub veteran's performance in her recent June 22 show at the same club, White should be a candidate to pick up the award once again this year. Maybe it's time to just call her, 'Terri Terrific.'
