NEWSIES: THE BROADWAY MUSICAL will screen August 4th and 5th at 7:00pm and 10:25pm, and August 6th through 9th at 7:00pm.
The Coterie Theatre and the White Theatre at "The J," the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City, will come together to co-produce Disney's Newsies for a limited run in the Summer 2018. The show will mark The Coterie and The J's first collaboration, as well as the Kansas City region's first locally-produced production of Newsies. It will be co-directed by Coterie Producing Artistic Director, Jeff Church, and Jerry Jay Cranford, who will also serve as choreographer, with musical direction by Pam Williamson, veteran of 10 musicals at The J. Newsies will feature a cast of all-local professional and non-professional adult and youth actors, and will be performed live on stage at the White Theatre at The J, July 7-29, 2018.

Hale Centre Theatre, Utah's professional family theater, officially unveiled its 2018 entertainment season that will mark the first full year in the new 130,000 square-foot Mountain America Performing Arts Centre in Sandy City. The 2018 season, sponsored by Mountain America, will feature eight productions on the season ticket and two special engagement productions. Now IS the time to seize the day! BroadwayWorld has learned that Disney will film NEWSIES this August, at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles. Returning for the filming will be original Broadway cast members Jeremy Jordan and Kara Lindsay. The production, currently on tour plays the Pantages from Aug. 30, 2016 - Sept. 4, 2016. There is no word yet if the production is headed towards the big or small screen, or who else might be joining or re-joining the cast for the filming.
Casting has been announced for the Charlotte engagement of Disney's NEWSIES. The Tony® Award-winning production will begin performances at Belk Theater at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, August 9 for a limited engagement through Sunday, August 14.
