From the arrival in the city of Little Amal, a giant puppet who is travelling 8,000km in support of refugees, to a celebration of Sound System Culture, more events have been announced and will form part of the year-long festival that reflects Coventry as a diverse, modern city, with hundreds of ways for citizens and visitors to take part.

After a brief delay due to weather, the FREEDOM CABARET opened at the Stratford Festival on Saturday night and it had the audience captivated from start to finish. The show may not have begun until the lightning passed, but the mood under the canopy was certainly electric. Newark will be filled with music again this summer as NJPAC’s much-loved free outdoor concert series, Horizon Foundation Sounds of the City, returns with in-person performances on the Arts Center’s Chambers Plaza starting July 15.
This new production celebrates the immense life and timely message of Jamaican soul rebel Bob Marley - from a life of poverty to visionary international superstar. Crucial fellow soul rebels in the cast include the sensational Rita Marley and the I Three and his inspiring brothers in arms, Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer and Lee 'Scratch Perry'.
This year's concerts will span a variety of musical styles, feature returning favorites such as the jazz duo Acute Inflections as well as local artist Munah Hayes and introduce new and diverse artists to the community. Additional events may be added throughout the summer.
