As a warm-up to their fourth artist album, The Young Punx released their new single 'Wonderland' via MofoHifi Records, the fourth of their schedule of one release per month for the year 2019. The track is conceptualized and produced by Grammy Nominated UK multi-instrumentalist and record producer Hal Ritson, who has credits on over 1000 records, including for artists like Katy Perry, Cassius, The Prodigy, Kanye West, Nas, Black Eyed Peas, Duke Dumont, Avicii, David Guetta, Chemical Brothers and many more. In 2009, Hal was the Musical Director for Dizzee Rascal's BBC Electric Proms performance and went on to lead and play in Dizzee's live band headlining Glastonbury.
Alt-Pop duo Hooked Like Helen has shared their new single 'Tear This Place Apart' on the 26th April, lifted from their upcoming EP, Tragedy Of Physics set for release on 31st May via Stipp Manor Music. Co-produced alongside Grammy award-winning mixer, engineer and producer Isha Erskine (Ziggy Marley, Maroon 5, Black Eyed Peas) the EP also features vocals by NBC's The Voice contestant, Emily Keener. The Puerto Rico-born, Bronx-bred choreographer and performer Marlyn Ortiz, along with choreographer Emmanuel E. Hernandez, directs an all-female cast of New York's hottest dancers, aerialists and comediennes in a show that sets traditional and neo-burlesque elements to Latin rhythms. The evening features the beautiful ladies of Bon Bon Burlesque, in addition to comedienne Lori Sommer, also known as "Madam Honey," singer Rachel Stern, also known as "Ray Ray Star," and Jose Mitaynes as "Manuel."
