Pam Goldberg and Blair McMillen will present the 11th Season of the Rite of Summer Music Festival, taking place Summer 2022 on Governors Island, New York City. Rite of Summer will present four free outdoor concerts from May through September.

LA-based singer/songwriter Teddy Grossman has released his highly anticipated debut album Soon Come, which was a lifetime in the making. Although a lifelong music lover and maker, pursuing a career in music was put on the back burner. After a decade of his own music playing second fiddle to the life of a traveling salesman, Grossman picked up everything and moved to Los Angeles, where he soon began recording what would become, Soon Come, leaving behind his job and former life along the way. 

FènixDion, the brainchild of Keston Wright and Sam Bramble, has already made a bold entrance onto the Twin Cities music scene. One of their first shows ever was a warm-up slot in front of thousands at the Basilica Block Party in downtown Minneapolis, followed quickly by a more intimate, well-received club gig at Icehouse.

On Saturday, November 6 at 7:30 p.m., Alberta Bair Theater continues its Outstanding Performances Series with twice Grammy nominated Raul Midón, whose jazz undertones buoy an eclectic style of guitar and vocals that are syncopated by his mouth-horn technique. 

One can never be sure in this uncertain world - especially in show business - of how an acting career will look in hindsight; fortunately, along with all the power as a performer she packs into her slight 5’4” frame, this lady (as it turns out) is also a gifted from the gods songwriter. With more than half her show consisting of her own compositions, Kristolyn Lloyd showed all that she can combine her own poetry with beautiful notes and make songs that soar.

Hadestown officially returned to Broadway last night for its first performance in more than 18 months. The sold-out audience led several ovations and a post-show celebration spilled out onto West 48th Street where the cast and band took to the fire escape of the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street) and led the crowd in celebratory jam session.
