Bill Kenwright's production of one of the greatest family musicals of all time, The Sound of Music, recommences its UK tour on Wednesday 18 May at the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre.

Following his phenomenal decade-long success with The Agatha Christie Theatre Company, which sold over two million tickets and continually played to packed houses all around the UK, Bill Kenwright returns with an all-new instalment of classic mystery in Rehearsal For Murder from Mon 9 - Sat 14 May.

The Make A Difference Trust (MAD Trust) has appointed Alastair Hudson as Charity Manager and Chris Clegg as Events Manager, in the two newly created positions at the organisation.

Save The Last Dance For Me is a musical written by Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran, with hits from Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman, produced and directed by Bill Kenwright. The plot follows two sisters, Jennifer and Marie, on their first caravan holiday away from their parents. Set in the 60s the girls discover an American Air Force base near their holiday destination, Lowestoft. The sisters are invited to the airbase club to dance and meet the lively crew. The girls are quickly thrown into a whirlwind of romance, live music and dancing, energetically choreographed by the Olivier Award-winning associate director Bill Deamer.

Final casting has been announced for the UK tour of Save the Last Dance for Me. Lola Saunders, a finalist on The X Factor 2014, will make her theatrical debut in the role of Jennifer starring alongside previously announced Antony Costa as Milton, with Wayne Robinson as Curtis and Elizabeth Carter returning to the role of Marie.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Michael Crawford, the legendary star of stage and screen will return to the London Stage in a new musical, based on the famed novel The Go-Between. The production will begin performances on May 27th at the Apollo Theatre in London's West End and will open on June 7th. The production will mark Crawford's return to the stage after most recently appearing in THE WIZARD OF OZ at the London Palladium.

Following two triumphant tours, spectacular show The Glenn Miller Story extends into the autumn, opening in Southend-on-Sea on Friday 5 August. This extraordinary tale of America's most famous big band leader stars music legend Tommy Steele.

Casting has been announced for Bill Kenwright's new West End production of Alan Ayckbourn's farcical tale of matrimonial mishaps, How The Other Half Loves. The 1969 classic - the first of Ayckbourn's plays to be staged on Broadway - returns to London to play the Theatre Royal Haymarket from Wednesday 23 March 2016 - Saturday 25 June, with a press night on 31 March.

Tonight, the BBC has announced that the star will also reprise his television role of 'Frank Spencer', opposite Michele Dotrice for a one-off TV special on March 18th. Dotrice was also recently seen on the stage in THE LADYKILLERS.
