 RED BULL THEATER today announced that the 2021-’21 Season will continue with PERICLES 2021, a multi-faceted online endeavor to provide an opportunity for the entire community to explore William Shakespeare’s Pericles.

Photos have been released of the re-opening cast of the critically-acclaimed, award-winning Off-Broadway production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, starting performances tonight, “on the twenty-first day of the month of September” at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street).

The 21st Annual Chutzpah! Festival will include concerts, comedy, new dance works, film, theatre, and storytelling, paired with stimulating conversations and opportunities to interact with creative artists.

What makes his latest recording, 'Collaborative Composition: Created in the Moment,' perhaps even more extraordinary is that each of the eleven tracks showcases Goldstein engaging in a spontaneous dialogue with a second musician, the two trading ideas to produce structurally and emotionally compelling works of art.

This production is the recipient of 2020 “Outstanding Revival” Awards from the Drama Desk, the Drama League and the Outer Critics Circle.

The Cast Includes Giancarlo Esposito, Paz Vega, Rufus Sewell, Tati Gabrielle, Peter Mark Kendall, Rosaline Elbay, Jai Courtney, and Niousha Noor.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts presents the St. Lawrence String Quartet on Tuesday, September 21 at 8:00 pm at Samueli Theatre in a program of works by Erich Wolfgang Korngold.  SLSQ are Geoff Nuttall, violin; Owen Dalby, violin; Lesley Robertson, viola; Stephen Prutsman, piano; and Christopher Costanza, cello.

The cast of the off-Broadway production of Little Shop of Horrors took the stage at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night for a performance! The cast, which is led by Jeremy Jordan and Tammy Blanchard, performed 'Little Shop of Horrors' and 'Skid Row'.

The TheaterMakers Studio will present the fifth annual TheaterMakers Summit, on November 6 and 7, with a special bonus day on November 8. With Broadway reopening, the theme of this year's event is 'Places Please.' The 2021 TheaterMakers Summit will be held virtually for attendees and speakers.

STAGES St. Louis has announced the casting for their upcoming production of JERSEY BOYS that will play September 24 – October 24, 2021 at The Ross Family Theater in the new Kirkwood Performing Arts Center. The cast will be headlined by Christopher Kale Jones who is best known for playing Frankie Valli in the 1st National Tour of JERSEY BOYS. With a book written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, JERSEY BOYS takes an exhilarating journey into the cultural phenomenon that is Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. The show features 30 show stopping performances of the hits that took the group all the way to the top of the charts, including: “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You.”

On October 1st,  TheatreWorks New Milford will present the World Premiere of If I Fell, by playwright and TheatreWorks Board Member, Jocelyn Beard.

Andrew Polec, 32, actor/singer/musician/composer from Doylestown, PA, is honored to have been named the first prize winner in The Kurt Weill Foundation for Music 's 23rd Annual Lotte Lenya Competition, which took place in New York City on August 28, 2021. He received the $20,000 First Prize plus a $2,000 Finalist Prize, for a total of $22,000. Each of his four selections were a fully realized one-act drama. 

Contra Costa Civic Theatre will return to live, in-person Main Stage productions this fall with one of the giants of the American theatre, Thornton Wilder’s Our Town. Directed by CCCT’s Executive Artistic Director Marilyn Langbehn, and featuring a diverse ensemble of eight actors who portray the 25-plus citizens of Grover’s Corners, Our Town will play for 15 performances from October 1-31.

RED BULL THEATER today announced that the 2021-’22 Season will kick off with HISPANIC GOLDEN AGE CLASSICS | SOR JUANA, a four-part series of online events that will focus on Sor Juana Inés De La Cruz, the playwright, poet, and nun who was writing in Mexico in the latter half of the 17th Century. 

Stagecrafters will present the comedy, Don’t Drink the Water at the Baldwin Theatre in downtown Royal Oak, Friday, September 17 through Sunday, October 3, 2021.
