All aboard! Ogunquit Playhouse announces the first non-musical production at the theatre in over 12 years, Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express, on stage August 14 through August 31.

Harry Connick, Jr., the celebrated singer, musician and actor will premiere on Broadway in his strictly limited, brand-new show HARRY CONNICK, JR.a?"A Celebration of Cole Porter, honoring one of America's most respected songwriters with performances beginning December 2019 at the Nederlander Theatre, with additional ticket information to be announced soon. This all-new production is conceived and directed by Harry Connick, Jr. with scenic design by Beowulf Boritt and Alexis Distler, projection design by Beowulf Boritt and Caite Hevner Kemp and lighting design by Ken Billington.

The producers of the 10th Anniversary production of ROCK OF AGES are thrilled to continue their longstanding and unprecedented relationship with New York's professional sports teams with the first ever Broadway Subway Series!  Battling it out for a?oeBest Bourbon Room Bartendera?? a?" and all for charity a?" are Yankees all-star CC Sabathia (Tonight, Wednesday, July 31) and Mets standout rookie and 2019 Home Run Derby champion Pete a?oePolar Beara?? Alonso (Wednesday, August 7). 

'A Bronx Tale,' playing this week at Starlight Theatre, is one of those hidden gems of a show that enjoyed a fairly limited Broadway run. And because the Broadway run ended last fall after 700 performances (for now), a good portion of the New York cast has signed up for the touring company and are performing for Kansas City audiences. These folks obviously love this show. It shows in the performance.

David Thaxton is joining the cast of Come From Away in London! Thaxton will take on the role of Kevin T/Garth and Others, replacing David Shannon from 9 September.

Come From Away will make its Philadelphia debut October 22 through November 3 at the Academy of Music on the Kimmel Center Cultural Campus.

When bookwriter Chris D'Arienzo's 1980s hair-band tuner Rock of Ages moved from Off-Broadway's New World Stages to the Brooks Atkinson Theatre in April of 2009 - with a score made up of rock classics by Journey, Styx, Asia, Twisted Sister, Bon Jovi, Foreigner and a bunch of others - it was, to this reviewer's recollection, the first Broadway jukebox musical to acknowledge the silliness of jamming hit songs into an unrelated story.

The Be More Chill: Original Broadway Cast Recording two-disc CD set is available online and in stores today, Friday, July 19. It was released for digital download and streaming earlier this year, with a vinyl release planned for later this year.
