A champion of youth sports and education, nine-time All-Star and former Yankee Carlos Beltran set up his non-proi??t organization The Carlos Beltran Foundation to support community organizations that provide quality education and sports programs for underserved youth. Through years of hard work and generous contributions, Beltran and his wife Jessica were able to open The Carlos Beltran Academy in Puerto Rico, which provides a dynamic learning experience where young people can develop and enhance their athletic gifts and strive for academic excellence in preparation for leading responsible and productive lives as compassionate global citizens, and to empower youth to achieve their dreams through sports and education.

The New York Mets Foundation funds and promotes a variety of educational, social and athletic programs and other charitable causes. Found in 1963, it continues its mission to invest in the future of our community, and to provide assistance to myriad organizations that benefit children and others in need.
