Tickets are now on sale for The Wanderer, the new Broadway-bound musical based on the life and music of Rock & Roll Hall-of-Famer Dion DiMucci, starring Michael Wartella, Christy Altomare and Joey McIntyre in its world premiere at Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey.

In September 2021, COME FROM AWAY will honor what was lost and commemorate what was found in Gander, Newfoundland 20 years ago and invites audiences to join the show as they reflect, honor and remember.

Set in South Harlem, amidst a vibrant and eclectic community of West African immigrants, MERRY WIVES is a New York story about tricks of the heart, performed in the heart of the City-Central Park's magical Delacorte Theater.

Shakespeare in the Park is back and we've got photos from them official re-opening night! On Friday night, MERRY WIVES celebrated its opening at the Delacorte Theater, where it will run through Saturday, September 18. The play is adapted by Jocelyn Bioh and directed by Saheem Ali.

Be More Chill has announced two new cast members for the final 5 weeks in its strictly limited 10 week run at The Shaftesbury Theatre; Grace Mouat [& Juliet, SIX the Musical] will play Chloe Valentine and Mountview graduate Nathania Ong, making her professional debut, will play Jenna Rolan.

There will be no tickets required. The public is invited to come as they please, and bring their own blankets and picnics. Tetreault also plans to invite members of the Biden administration and other prominent figures to the performance.

The Public Theater has just announced that in-person standby tickets are back for Shakespeare in the Park starting today, July 20.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Lincoln Center Theater has shifted opening dates for Flying Over Sunset. The new musical with book and direction by James Lapine, music by Tom Kitt and lyrics by Michael Korie, and featuring choreography by Michelle Dorrance, will begin performances on Thursday, November 11 and open on Monday, December 13 in the Vivian Beaumont Theater.

BroadwayWorld has learned that the Public Theater has postponed opening night of the return of Shakespeare in the Park. Jacob Ming-Trent, who plays Falstaff in Merry Wives, sustained an injury onstage during a recent performance. Opening night will now be on August 9 to 'support his full recovery.'

Sharing details regarding the plot would be a disservice to the piece and those who will accept my encouragement to experience it for themselves. During the roughly 90 minutes (with no intermission) the pair of skillful actors present two broadly disparate seeming individuals mostly in a series of impressive and moving monologues.

The all-Black staging of the delightful comedy will officially open on Tuesday, July 27 and was recently extended by three weeks to now end on Saturday, September 18.

Be More Chill is set to open at The Shaftesbury Theatre for a limited 10 week run from Wednesday 30 June. Bill Kenwright with Jerry Goehring, Lisa Dozier and Paul Taylor-Mills will be reviving the show this summer.
