Final seats are on sale tomorrow for the highly acclaimed Australian musical, Muriel's Wedding the Musical, set to light up Queensland Performing Arts Centre's (QPAC's) Lyric Theatre from 19 September 2019, with official opening night 21 September.

Central Piedmont Community College Theatre announces individual tickets are now on sale for its upcoming season. Tupelo Community Theatre's historic 50th season begins with the Broadway favorite Mamma Mia!, written by British playwright Catherine Johnson and  based on the songs of ABBA by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, at the Lyric Theatre in downtown Tupelo. 

Most musicals follow the tried and true pattern of being written in a format that it is expected to be examined and redone through a series of readings, rewrites, staged readings, rewrites, previews, more rewrites, and, if lucky, a full-staged production. As the process continues the script and score are improved to attempt to ensure that they are well-integrated.
